Arry Yu is a 25-year technology industry veteran, serial founder and strategic operator with expertise in scaling businesses. She is currently the Executive Director and Co-Founder of the U.S. Blockchain Coalition (USBC) which merged with the Global Business Blockchain Council (GBBC) in November 2023, becoming GBBC’s Head of Strategy (US). It is the only multistate organization in the US, as a federation of over 48 states across the country. Arry is also founding Chair of the Cascadia Blockchain Council, now WA’s Advanced Technology Cluster working on the economic impact of blockchain, artificial intelligence and quantum computing in the region. Yu also works in venture capital as she serves as the Managing Director of Yellow Umbrella Ventures and Venture Partner with Startup Haven Fund. She launched 1871’s Web3 Innovation Lab in 2024 as the Executive in Residence (EIR). She regularly serves as an educator, guest lecturer, Adjunct Professor and instructor for various academic institutions like the Coding Dojo, Portland State University, Columbia University, and the Milgard School of Business at the University of Washington Tacoma.
